Visiting wineries in Valle de Guadalupe is a great idea for a weekend trip. Summer time calls for festivals around town and drinking wine. Last Sunday I attended a paella competition were locals sold wine from their vineyards and others competed for the best paella in the region. This is a great event to attend just like others around el Valle.
What to wear?
To these events its more of simple, casual, yet countryside style. What many of my fellow festival goers did not know was that: high heels and over the top dresses are not really required. Some humble advice is: just wear something casually stylish, no need for high heels or up dos. What I would strongly recommend is closed toe shoe (which I did not wear) and a hat.
